Here for sale is 1 Oz of Calcium Tungstate(Scheelite) Fine Tungsten Ore Approximately 80% Tungsten. Mixed in with the scheelite is possible gold, colbalt, iron, and maybe a few garnets. It's hard to remove all the super fine gold/ impurities from this stuff but I've managed to get it pretty pure.. Scheelite glows bright white/ Blue under shortwave UV light as you can see from the pictures. Tungsten is used for various things such as hardening steel, the filiment that glows in incandescent lightbulbs, heating elements, coatings on some electronics, Tungsten carbide bits, and as of the last few years jewelry just to name a few. It also is used to make the popular tungsten cubes everyone is searching for. It has a super high melting point and is one of the hardest metals know to man. The demand for tungsten is ever growing as technology finds its way into our everyday lives. The majority of our supply comes from China and the need for a different source is on the horizon.
