Kristalle is known worldwide for our California crystallized gold specimens! Unlike other forms of gold, the value of crystallized gold is prominently based on the crystallization rather than size or weight.
Don Dickey mined the Oriental Mine for more than 50 years. The mine was previously worked by his mother before World War II. Over that time, he 'stockpiled' all of the rich specimen pieces. After his death in 2015, we were contacted to help sort through all the gold he had recovered. We found specimens under floor boards, in closets, in safes, and even in the rafters at the mine office! This thumbnail specimen was part of a truly incredible find, and this is a unique opportunity to obtain a historical gold specimen.
