FR.191 1864  Compound Interest Note Colby/Spinner
This is a very rare Compound Interest Note.  It's also the earlier Chittenden/Spinner signature...just one of 4 known!  Compare that to the 191a which is 64 known.
These notes were like mini bonds. The interest payment table on the reverse shows 6% interest compounded every six months.  Three years after the issue date...this note would have a value of .88.  These notes circulated just like regular paper money.
The note is graded VF20 but I feel it's very under graded.  Most of these also have restoration but this one is original and problem free.
