1800s Ore Knob Copper Mine in Ashe County North Carolina, USA. Rare specimen with gold and copper and silver red quartz mix, showing on the surface of the undisturbed ore. It also is forming touch of blue/green Bayldonite on the surface, a coating that forms on copper bearing specimens. 3 5/8" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/4". All measurements are from the longest point.
