This is a high grade gold ore specimen from Colorado. Containing gold inclusions in a mafic matrix. The dark matrix provides an excellent frame for the sparkling gold. Mined in the rugged mountains of Colorado by an old time miner, own a piece of Colorado mining history today.
A polishing varnish has been applied to it in order to highlight the gold.
Comes in a 3 3/4" X 3 1/4" riker box - ready to display!
