Jasper Engineering PANO-HEAD 2 Panorama Tripod Head. Condition is "Lightly Used".
This tripod accessory fastens to a standard photo tripod like any other tripod head, and provides a convenient way to shoot images that can be “stitched” together into a panoramic image. Using a tripod head of this type, properly adjusted, makes it possible for many common software programs to merge the separate images into a seamless panorama. Adjustment should place the nodal point of the lens directly over the tripod head’s pivot so that software can merge images containing both foreground and background subjects. The PANO-HEAD 2 is compatible with most any camera that has a standard tripod screw socket. It has a bubble level for use in leveling the entire head and camera assembly. Level panning is desired for photos that merge properly, but you can tilt the camera up or down to position the horizon in the image or to make multiple-row panoramas.
You can mount the camera in a horizontal (landscape) orientation, or use the included vertical mounting bracket to mount it in a vertical (portrait) orientation. In either case, the tripod screw on the PANO-HEAD 2 moves from side to side to align the lens with the center line through the pivot point. The forward-backward adjustment is accomplished using the 160mm-long scale. This should position the nodal point properly.
Once the camera is positioned properly on the head, you can pan through the desired number of shots using any of three color-coded sets of click-stop detents. Green dots are spaced 45 degrees apart, red dots30 degrees apart, and yellow dots are 22.5 degrees apart. You should make sure there is some overlap between consecutive images.

I’ve only used this a few times. It is very solidly made, and the adjustments all work smoothly. The photos show the actual item you will receive. It has a few small marks that do not affect its operation in any way.
