Signed MORRA Turquoise Sterling Silver Carved Abalone Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medal Pendant Necklace
This stunning piece features a carved abalone shell mother of pearl oval "medal" of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. The oval is about 1" in size and has a lovely pearly iridescence.
The sterling silver chain is about 16 1/2", not counting the clasp, and the drop is about 2 1/2". It is marked "STER" on the little heart by the clasp, and the round tag is signed by the designer  "MORRA".
It is accented with turquoise stones and little round transparent deep pink stone beads.  I'm not sure what kind of stone the little beads are, but if you use a magnifier you can see little inclusions in them---maybe tourmaline?
It is in very
good preowned condition and I have not polished it. Please see all the pictures for finer detail and ask any questions that might be helpful.
