These are miniature genuine steel gold pans measuring 9/16" diameter.  The pans have been blued just like a gun barrel to create the deep black color.  The gold in the pan is gold leaf, and assays at .9583 pure.  The ear wires are gold plated.
The perfect gift for a recreational gold miner or metal detector enthusiast to give or receive.
