Listing is for one US M-7 Bayonet with M8A1 Scabbard and the original government contractor packaging materials as shown. Your bayonet has been sealed and not opened for decades and will arrive in the same condition. Pictures shown are representative of what the contents look like inside since I decided to open one of my boxes; your box will not be open. Expect that your box and bayonet may look slightly different or have different types of packaging. And although these bayonets are unissued, they have been in storage since the 70's so I would also not consider them mint. There were several manufacturers of this particular bayonet and the one you receive will vary.
The original box you receive will be inside of another box for shipping purposes, so the historical value of the box will be preserved. The condition of the box you receive will vary. Some boxes do/don't have stickers, some boxes may have other marks on them or writing, some of the tape may be lifted because the adhesive is so old, some boxes have maker's marks on them, etc. These conditions represent how the boxes are received from the government liquidator where they have been in storage for decades. Just to be abundantly clear, the original boxes and the contents will not be open.
These knives date to the early 70's. Scabbard is olive drab colored with fiberglass body and steel throat. Blade is 1095 Carbon Steel.
