Vintage Assortment of Chinese Carved Pieces

Description

This is an assortment of five Chinese carved pieces that includes two coin pendants, a half-heart dragon pendant, a Buddha pendant and a miniature foo dog statue.
Each coin pendant
measures approximately 2” in diameter and ¼” in height and features Chinese characters and symbols carved into both sides.
A round hole is situated in the center for the purpose of displaying the coin pendant on a necklace or attached to a robe tassel.
The half-heart pendant measures approximately 1 ¾” in length and 1” in width and features a carved dragon on the front, a polished back and a tiny hole for hanging on a necklace.
The matching half-heart piece,
that I do not have
, would feature a phoenix.
In Chinese culture the dragon and phoenix were regarded as the most sacred animals and were used as emblems of emperors and empresses or yang (male) and yin (female).
The Buddha pendant measures approximately 2” in length, 1 ¼” in width and features a sitting Buddha holding a vase and has a very tiny hole for hanging on a necklace.
The miniature foo dog statue measures approximately 1 ¾” in length, 1” in width and stands 1” in height.
It features a carved brown and white foo dog figure.
All five pieces are unmarked.
With the exception of the following flaws this vintage collection is in good condition:
One of the coins has a flaw on the rim; the half-heart pendant has a few tiny nicks along the rim and some dirt residue in the crevices; the Buddha pendant appears to have some cracks, but might just be part of the natural stone (please review photos for flaws).
Despite some dirt residue in the crevices, the foo dog has no flaws.
