    Description

    This is a religious charm, which I believe, is from the later 1800's-early 1900's time period.  I do NOT know what metal the charm is made from.  It has a  golden tone to it, but is possibly bronze.  There is a "rim" around the charm, which has a small loop, for attaching to a bracelet or necklace.
    One side of the charm  has an image of Jesus, from the waist up, with the words "My Jesus Protect Me".  The word "Me" is a bit hard to read, but the other words are easily decipherable.  It looks like there is a spot of red on the palm of the right hand (stigmata?).
    The opposite side of the charm has an image of Mary, just her head, in front of a sunburst (?).  There are no words on this side.
    Overall, other than normal age-related wear, the charm is in very good condition.
