    Description

This is an early Vietnam-era Camillus-brand Jet Pilot Survival knife with 5” inch blade. The pommel has the markings “CAMILLUS N.Y. 5-1967” stamp located on the left side handle (
    see picture #8
). There are some scratches/scrapes with very light pitting on the blade but no disfigurements. The stacked leather handle still retains most of original lacquer resin and is in good condition. The majority of original phosphate finish is almost gone as guard, metal handle ring underneath guard and peened pommel have heavy patina. The pommel end still has the dove gray paint as issued by the military to pilots during the Vietnam war. The original leather is in very used shape that has two cuts in retaining strap (
    see picture #5
). It has no sharpening stone but the leather overall is still supple and in good working function.
    Dimensions:
    - 5” inch long blade
    - 3/16” of an inch thick blade
    - 9 & ½” inches overall length
Overall, despite its’ apparent use, this Camillus Jet Pilot Survival knife with original sheath is in good condition and sold as is. Thank you for looking and good luck!
