    Description

The LDS (Mormon) “Bee-Hive Girls” began in 1913 to teach young girls how to be women and mothers, e.g. how to take care of the house, home and husbands.
The gold beehive pin, introduced in 1921, has the letters WOMANHO in a banner across the bottom, which stand for:
    WO: work
    MAN: mankind
    HO: home
This pin is in wonderful, clean condition, given its age (from the ‘40s).  The clasp on the pin works great, and there is no tarnish on the back of the pin.  Please see photos for condition.
(Given the current [6] price of gold, this 2 gram pin is worth, in the neighborhood of, about 0 melt value.)
